Client's need

1

The brief

The jeweller's wanted a bespoke advent calendar made up of 24 windows, echoing the shape of their logo, which is inspired by Strasbourg Cathedral. Window 24 had to sit on the rose window, the central element of the design. The calendar had to match the shop's colours and be produced in two identical copies for their two points of sale.

The need

The aim was to offer an immersive in-store customer experience: each day, a customer would have the chance to win a gift by opening a window of the bespoke advent calendar. The idea was to build engagement among loyal customers, both in-store and on social media, with heavy promotion through videos.

Our goal

We supported the jeweller's from idea to delivery, proposing suitable technical solutions while guaranteeing complete satisfaction.

  • Drafting a detailed specification, approved with the client, to ensure every aspect of the project matched their expectations.
  • Setting up close collaboration, with frequent back-and-forth to validate each stage of the process.
  • Managing complex logistics, with the shipping of two calendars over a metre tall and weighing nearly 20 kg each.

  • Optimised layout to obtain 24 windows integrated harmoniously.
  • Colour tests with the client to guarantee a perfect match with the brand's visual identity.
  • Precise alignment of the logo on the calendar, requiring meticulous adjustment.
  • Numerous exchanges with the client to validate every detail and ensure the design matched the specification exactly.

Prototyping and testing

  • Fit tests to guarantee smooth, solid assembly of the windows.
  • Visual tests to ensure the window numbers were clearly legible.
  • Optimising the assembly, drawing on our engineering skills to propose a manufacturing approach suited to the mechanical constraints and assembly methods.

Manufacture and delivery

  • Manufacture and delivery of both copies in a single shipment, within a tight deadline.
  • Final sign-off delayed by numerous exchanges to guarantee the client's complete satisfaction before production began.
  • A refined customer experience: each advent calendar was delivered in a custom-made wooden box.
  • Each piece was wrapped in tissue paper and set on a bed of packing chips, reinforcing the project's sense of luxury and exclusivity.
